URGENT FURY: ROAD RAGE – GRAN TURISMO 5 RACING LEAGUE

    Season:

    1. Urgent Fury: Road Rage will consist of 16 races, held weekly. Races will take place every Sunday at 1 p.m. central time. Races may be postponed in the event of holidays, and rescheduling will be announced one week ahead of time. Races will be ran on scheduled days regardless of the number of available drivers. In the event only 3 or less drivers show up for any race, the number of laps will be cut in half for that event, but it will still be ran.

    6. Active stability management is allowed in all races
    7. Grip reduction will be set to real
    8. Driving line will be optional optional

If this happens, the car must be gifted to the race league moderator immediately for inspection of all race rule criteria, including horsepower, weight, performance points, and modification limitations. Refusal to comply with inspection for any reason will result in immediate disqualification from that event and a 10 point reduction in championship points. In the event a racer has less than 10 championship points, the racers points will be reset to zero.

    1. All tracks used for racing league will be chosen from the in-game list. No custom tracks will be used.
    2. Tracks included in the DLC from the playstation store may be included in the racing league.

    2. Mics are to be used respectfully. No racism, insults, or excessive ranting will be tolerated. You are also expected to keep quiet, be attentive, and follow instructions when the race moderator(s) is giving out instructions, details, or explanations

    Re: Gran Turismo Rules

    Question about this rule.

    3. In any race, the winning automobile may be called in for a random tech inspection.

From my understanding from what i have seen and other have stated in GT5 your limited in gifting cars to cars under the 1 million dollar price tag. if this is true and the room is set up to except for EX. (the first race 600 PP) to expect the set amount of PP and the limits on finding the cars in the dealerships. Can you borrow cars for people on your friend list?

If the room is set for 600 PP that means that your car has to be tuned before you enter the room or the room setting will not allow you to join.

This is something for the UF powers to be to think about and make a ruling on as soon as possible please.

    Thanks.,

    Re: Gran Turismo Rules

yes smokey, you are limited in gifting cars now. it has to be under 1,000,000 credits new value. this means that we will not be able to gift all cars for inspections. however, with bumper cam a car sitting still on the track can be inspected visually by other drivers, and we can inspect cars visually with video replay also.

as for performance points, you can enter a room at any point level, but cannot enter the track till you meet the proper pp level.

lastly, to my knowledge you cannot use a friends posted online cars in an online race. you can only use cars in your own garage.

Is there any news regarding the first race? Are the race moderators going to send friend requests to all accepted participants?

    Re: Gran Turismo Rules

in an effort to save time frag, it would be easier if the accepted participants would please add xPUDDYTATx and QCNB. you all can send 2 invites quicker than we can send 12-13. please put road rage in the subject line!!! also, i would ask those that have room on their lists to add xPUDDYTAT2x also. that account will be used for sending some of the gift cars for each race event.

    thank you

    Re: Gran Turismo Rules

That sounds good and makes more sense. It looks like there are 15 signed up as of right now. Is there going to be a formal acceptance, or will it just be the first 16 that apply?

we did not refer to race modifications because they are not included anywhere in the schedule. if a race mod car was included, then the letters "RM" would follow the name of the car, just like in game.
