i appreciate the update shane. even though i did not compete, i have followed this very closely and think i am right in saying that this was exactly what teams were wanting to know. i appreciate that you are doing this yourself and are following through with your word. i cant wait for next event and hope to compete

I actually completely agree with PJ here. He makes great points about starting a BF4 server for UF. Personally, i've had BF4 since the release of the playstation and have yet to play it. so if i had a reason to play it, i would hop on and take it for a spin. Pillorian, i thank you for trying to get this started as most of us have probably had some sort of conversation relating to this and i appreciate the fact that you are at least trying to do that. I would like to contribute in anyway i can. While i go to school and work full time, i don't always have a ton of time. However i'm willing to help by at least by being in constant communication in what needs to be done and in what we should all do contribute. I am attempting to make UnF an actual clan instead of just a competitive team that really isn't going anywhere due to the lack of interest. I guess you could consider myself and wing Founders but we have agreed to find a separate leader entirely as we feel we are not entirely fit for the job. We would like to give help in anyway we can. If there is anything I, or we, can do please feel free to let me know. I would like to be a part of the skype conversation so we can discuss how we can improve the community and "bring it back to life" as some may say. We all wish to compete at a place that can bring the clans together so there is always new people to play and new titles to play for. Again, i appreciate Pillorian for bringing this to light and as i said, i will do anything in my power to help.

I believe that, even if it is patented, as long as they have adjusted the mode by about 20% differently compared to UF's Tac Maps they can use it. Also, patents have an expiration date so maybe the patent has expired Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk

Yea obviously you didn't watch the entire stream. The highest I saw it get up too was 111 viewers during a match on express near the end of the tournament. I'm not in anyway supporting UF because I would personally demand the money within two weeks of the event ending and would contact a lawyer anytime after that because you are a business, you made a promise, and you didn't follow through. However, you're stats are off germ.

I never said that anyone was going to win the argument. In fact, this entire argument was not even on which system was better but rather my facts to back up why Xbox was made for shooters and was a more competitive system for shooters. Shane's the one who couldn't understand my points and continued to make irrelevant points. I never once said anything about the comfortability of the controllers. I simply stated that the Xbox controller was specifically designed for shooters. He proceeded to go with the completely logically flawed argument of "so you're saying I shouldn't play playstation because it wasn't designed for shooter?" End of story. I'm done here. I'd like to point put that the last question of the first Q&A even supports my statement. "The Xbox one requires Internet connection but we have implemented way for you to play games, watch tv and movies if you lose your connection. So I believe it's sad to say that you won't have to have Internet to play a single player game. Secondly. You still haven't approached my fact of the PROFESSIONAL call of duty players that even said they preferred Xbox over ps3 because of the competition and the superior FPS system in general. Your argument of "the competition is relatively the same. Anaheim (and I dont know what year you were going off of) had a more percentage by twice as much as Xbox." We'll I'd like to point out that Anaheim 2013 hasn't happened yet, Anaheim 2012 didn't have COD and only had halo so the fact that you bring in other genres of games is irrelevant because we are talking about shooters and then Anaheim 2011 cod was on ps3. Your post hoc logical fallacy of assuming that I said "well since you said Xbox controller was designed for shooters, that means I should be playing shooters on Xbox only" is such a ridiculous argument. It's a logical fallacy because you are assuming that since A came before B, A caused B which is not the case. You have every right to play shooters on whatever console. I give explanation for why Xbox is superior though. As far as the triggers, I said triggers are supposed to feel like triggers so that's why the Xbox controller is better for shooters. I have always argued that shooters were better for Xbox and racing and fighting games were better for ps3. As far as your trouble grasping an Xbox controller, that is irrelevant as I've played exclusively playstation since I was about six (maybe younger) and didnt start playing Xbox until right before I turned 17. That far longer than since the Xbox came out and I have no trouble adapting. Still your argument of "well Xbox players want the game back on their console and ps3 players would have the same reaction if their fighting and racing games were out on Xbox" is also irrelevant. First I would like to point out how your logical fallacy of "since you said that Xbox controllers were made specifically for shooters, your saying I can't play shooter" is a complete avoidance of my argument. Halo MADE Xbox. They even said it in the conference. They also say how it influenced the designs in the system and the controller. A trigger is supposed to be shaped like a controller and that's why the Xbox controller has triggers because its made primarily for shooters. Now, onto the second point, yes players go where the money is but that is still avoiding my argument. You did not explain at all why Xbox was so preferred while I have an example. Xbox was used yes because Xbox paid but also because the players preferred it. Black ops 1 and mw2 were on ps3 competitively and they had to sign a contract and every body wanted Xbox back. Now games will NOT be ANYWHERE near 80GB. http://n4g.com/news/1115858/black-ops-2-pc-retail-on-two-discs-15-to-16-gb-in-size like i said. Between 5gb and 30gb is the current size of games with few exceptions. The next gen consoles will still be using blu-ray the the game sizes won't be much higher if at all. Like I said, Xbox has better connection, and more competitiveness in the community. I will most likely but it first and make my final judgement but its a preference on which console you like best but these are the facts. You can't argue facts because you have a different console preference. Now, I do believe that many of the features are unnecessary but still cool to have none the less. They mainly put those in there because everyone is asking for MORE MORE MORE! Now you don't know that their focus has changed. You're going based off of one conference that was about the unveiling of the console and its capabilities not the games it could play. It's a business technique. Can't blame them for that.
