PIMP YOUR SHOW!

Recommended Posts

So....what is THE show you're watching now that you think EVERYONE should be watching as well?

For myself, I find myself telling people how good of a show "The Shield" is.

It's on FX and I find a surprising number of people don't even KNOW about it, much less watch it.

I think the characters in this drama are pretty rich and the story seems to have just the right amount of urgency in every week's episode where the hour just flies by. Dirty cops, dirtier cops and some dirty bad guys......the show is just DIRTY!

Geez guys all that Drama and Death, great choices ::) . For me it's The Riches and, How I met Your Mother, I do like House, and Till Death too.

But for the most part I watch the ever addicting SOCOM show, it's on nightly for the most part.

NCIS (Naval Criminal Investigative Service) is kind of like CSI but for military. It's as serious show but is very humorous. It shows on CBS Tuesday. Here is the link if you want to know more- http://www.TV.com/ncis/show/16772/summary.html?q=ncis&tag=search_results;more;0

We all use math every day ... Inspired by actual cases and experiences, Numb3rs depicts the confluence of police work and mathematics in solving crime. An FBI agent recruits his mathematical genius brother to help solve a wide range of challenging crimes in Los Angeles from a very different perspective. Here is the link - http://www.tv.com/numb3rs/show/25043/summary.html?q=numbers&tag=search_results;more;0

Who the hell has time for regular TV?

LMAO!

I don't think that any of my TV's have been switched off of the PS's or the X-box's input for quite some time.

I'm wondering why the heck I'm even paying Direct TV anything??

Oh yea OK boxing, Basketball, Hockey etc.. I guess I still need Direct TV. ;)

Survivor Man: http://science.discovery.com/convergence/survivorman/survivorman.html This is crazy--- If you have watched those "how to survive shows" and ever wonder- Yeah but the guys got a camera crew following him and a chopper in the air- This guy goes into the wilderness and is left ALONE he does all his own filming and must find his way out ALONE.

And for my fictional side- The UNIT: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/the_unit/

I love pretty much any of the FX original programming. The Riches is fantastic! If you've never watched it, you should try to get up to speed before you watch new episodes, not because it's too hard to figure out, but because you'll appreciate the show & the characters alot more if you do. (as a side bar, if you've never caught Eddie Izzard's Stand Up act...you are missing a comic genius @ work, I reccomend Dress To Kill, the funniest History lesson you've ever heard.), The Shield re-invented Michael Chiklis, and I love the raw camera work, even though people complain that it not slick enough. Thanks, but CSI:Miami has "slick" cornered. (can you believe Vick shot that muthatrucka' Guardo?!!!)...anywho...I also like Rescue Me(Denis Leary is one of the funniest guys on the Planet), Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a trip. Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe makes me really appreciate the folks who do the work I couldn't or wouldn't do, Ghost Hunters is pretty groovy, & anything on The History Channel or TCM is both, fine...and dandy..

I forgot about the deadliest catch and survivor man, those are very interesting shows. Also Future Weapons is a bad ass show.

wow Rav never thought I'd see you go to flatline...but anyways yeha SG-1 and MythBusters is the shit, if your going to start watching SG-1 go and pick up all the seasons or make sure you watch every episode you can.

SG-1 is always on the Sci-fi channel, Monday's they have a marathon from 5-11 est, and every weekday at 6 they show an episode, also on fridays they show an episode at 6 and then an episode of Stargate SG-1 at 9 EST and then an episode of Stargate Atlantis at 10 EST. Great show and has a sweet as plotline, I love the whole idea behind the human race and where the roots of our existence comes from, pretty sweet if you know anything about the show.
