Getting better, but the key to a good signature, is utilizing lighting to create depth, and not jsut slapping a rendering on top of a picture.

It takes time and is a process. Good luck

im getting there im learning one thing at a time now that im comfortabe with all the piecing imma mess with the lights and blurs and all that stuff

what you need is to use a program like photoshop, there are so many ways of obtaining it. If your in college almost all schools have it in the application folder on the network

i got photoshop from mike so i have the program now ill check my college folder see if i can get another folder i never thought of that so ill def look into it

While messing around with renders is nice, there is no need to make your sig into a bump-out when you have a nice border. Its not really worth having a border if you cover it up with the render. Also you need to blend the render in and start making background images. Also I would suggest trying out new fonts and getting a set name placement for your sigs. Strokes can be extremely useful when trying to get a piece of text to contrast with the sig.
