Urgent Fury Introduces Boot Camp

Recommended Posts

Urgent Fury is proud to announce Boot Camp for Clans New to Urgent Fury.

Unlike Hell Week, this is your clan’s opportunity to experience the ins and outs of an actual Urgent Fury tournament. Boot Camp is also a chance for Urgent Fury Staff and Admins to evaluate your clan’s ability to follow the basic procedures required of a clan to compete in any of Urgent Fury’s intense tournaments.

Each month, orders will be issued to up to 16 new clans for:

1. XBOX 360 - Modern Warfare 2

2. Playstation 3 - Modern Warfare 2

3. Playstation 3 – Socom: Confrontation

Matches will be:

1. Tuesday and Thursday or

2. Monday and Wednesday

All clans will be assigned to a Regiment. Your clan’s regiment will be based on your clan’s assignment orders.

New clans will battle each other and veteran clans for three weeks. Each week, Staff and Admins will conduct a review and communicate anything that needs to be addressed. At the end of the three weeks, a final assessment will be made to determine if all basic requirements have been met and that your clan was able to "Win with Honor or Lose with Dignity."

If you are new to Urgent Fury, go to BOOT CAMP to pick your console and your game and enlist in the hottest Tournament Community on the WWW.

The first Boot Camps are slated for December 2009.

No not both. Boot Camp is going to take the place for hell week. For those that remember NESSA, Boot Camp will serve as a tournament that will introduce UF's style to them in a tournament format. Each new clan will be evaluated on all UF rules just as in Hell Week but in a tournament environment for 3 weeks.

Haha we just started putting in our applications. Guess we might never know wht its like.. :(

If we've already made it through Hell Week but haven't participated in an UF Tourney yet do we still fight our way through Boot Camp or wait for the first MW2 Tac Map?

It would be my guess that since you completed hell week before boot camp was rolled out that you guys are in the clear. Then again that's just a guess. lol

Crusty you are correct, TOG* is in the clear, however playing in Boot Camp wouldn't hurt you. And this is actually a chance for all the new teams that haven't had the chance to play in a serious tourney to get a better feel of what Urgent Fury is like.

Eval team members can report to the Eval hub for responsibilities.

To all the teams that see this and decide to take the chance to enter the fold here at Urgent Fury, welcome and gear up for a good time.
