Does anyone know why these were backordered?

^The best buy around here isn't carrying them here anymore, and the website says that they no longer have in store pickup

I was looking at getting one, but I don't know if I can/should now b/c it looks as though there was a problem with them.

Elite's were always said to be limited. They brought them out and they weren't supposed to be a permanent thing. I guess the time is up and they no longer sell them.

That sucks.. I was hoping to upgrade to the Elite someday..!

Now i guess if they aren't going to be around i'll just buy the 120GB Hard drive.
