Gonna be in Chicago for a few days...

Recommended Posts

My wifes family lives up in Wisconsin and I usually ride the train to Chicago while I'm there for a day in the city. They have some great museums if your into that. Also can't remember the town not far outside of Chicago but you can find Kings Dominion it's a great time you can find info on the web about it. If your looking for escorts if your not picky go down by the train station people always asking for money and stuff I'm sure you can talk them into just about anything :o

All i can find about "Kings Dominion" is an amusement park in Richmond Virginia..?

Is it an amusement park, cuz i live in CA & the last thing im looking for is another amusement park. lol

I am going to check out the Natural History Museum though.

Family is going to see a musical "In The Heights" not sure if i want to go or not.

I figure i can probably find lots to see & do in and around the city.

Anyone else..?

Prane, I'll give you a call.

My favorite dive bar is Friar Tucks. You get beer in these mini pitchers for $6 and they hold a little over 3 full glasses of beer. Not a bad deal. They also always have good music playing. Kernel I live in Elgin which is about 40 minutes outside the city to the west. Chili if you need to hit museums I recommend the Field Museum. Its definitely my favorite of the Chicago museums.

1) 312 beer or Goose Island Special brews in general

2) Museum of Science and Industry is amazing, personally i like it more than the Field

3) I would go out drinking with you guys (if you invited me) but im only 20 (i got 1 month left im 20 not 19)

4) Paradise Pup hamburgers are the best in Chicago

5) Geen and Jude's / Superdog for the best hotdogs in Chicago

6) If your going out with the wife (girlfriend sry idk you that well) or even kids if you have any, the Italian Village downtown is GREAT and pretty reasonably priced, I take girls down there all the time.

7)Navy Pier is okay, personally i think its overrated

8) If you like mexican food ( i do) Carbon's (accent over o) is on 300W 26th street. It's in the heart of LIttle Mexico, i got there at least 3 times a month, the Mexican women my mom works with at the Hospital just LOVE it, they said its the closest thing to what they used to eat in Mexico.

What he said! We had a great time there during the RVN meet this past August.

Look at the size of those melons on my left! Btw I'm repping my Cubbies gear in that pic, fuck the Cards Meaux!

Also Chili I'd recommend hitting up any of a long list of restaurants downtown such as:

Brazzas - Brazilian Steakhouse (I might be able to hook you up with a discount as the co-owner is a friend).

Fogo De Chao - Same as Brazzas, about 3 blocks apart.

Gino's East Pizzeria - Great deep dish.

Kuma's - never been there, but have heard the food is out of this world.

Portillo's - Incredible Italian Beef.

Carson's - Great Ribs.

The Palm - Great cuisine of many varieties.

Rockit - Cool Bar and Grill.

There's a million and one things to do in the city, it just depends what you are looking to get out of your trip. Give me a holler and we can go out for a beer if you'd like.

Yea.. I might only have one night free, so i got plenty of bars and food. lol

Plus i'm sure the people who live there that we will be visiting will have their own ideas & plans for the rest of the time spent in the city. (only in the city for 3 days, then down to Peoria for Christmas, 5 days)
