Right? Man did they get hammered, but it was kind of expected with Beckett on the mound. Schilling, Dice-K, and Wakefield are all hittable and the Rockies bats will probably fair much better the rest of the series. Just a note Beckett is slated to start Game 5 and appear in relief in Game 7 if needed.

i think the effect is bigger in colorado, where you have to move people to unfamiliar positions to get ortiz in the game. the only logical place to put him in at is first. so do you move uke or bench him and lose your hottest bat?
