OMG! It’s cold..

Right now it’s 2 degrees with a wind chill of -8 tonight it will be -11 with a wind chill of -23 that’s NEGATIVE 23. It’s cold.. I’m talking Arctic cold.. I’m talking polar bears are staying inside. The door on my truck won’t open.. it’s frozen shut. My dog won’t go outside he just looks at me like “what are you kidding me?†and this is just the beginning. Jan and Feb are the really cold months here in the frozen tundra.

 

I have some new neighbors, they are from Spain. Darn Euros.. anyway they obviously have no clue. Yesterday it was sort of nice only 25 degrees or so and so my neighbor after using his brand new snow blower decided to hose down his driveway and spray away the remaining salt and grunge.. WOW! :o I didn’t get home in time to stop him. his driveway is now like a ice rink… I felt bad for him (he’s a alright guy) so I brought over a couple of bags of salt and told him to spread it about.. his cars are parked on the street he can’t get them up his driveway! LOL. He has to trudge through the three foot of snow in his yard to get to his door. He can’t walk on his walk way without sliding all over the place. Welcome to Minnesota!!

My wife read some of this and said you all are wussies:) Shes from Iceland btw, and it gets back where she is from in the winter.

 

Tell your wife I'm not a wussie.. the first cold snap always seems colder than it is.. I'll get re-acclimated soon enough.. LOL.. but also tell her I gotta give her mad props and gotta agree I'd take MN over Iceland any day.. same goes for my upper Canadian brothers.

 

As for Puddytat... piss off you hose'r! ;)

The hell with all this cold weather bs. Boston's 22F with a wind chill of -8. Obviously not as bad as some of you have it but when your on a fuckin boat with 15-20 knot winds and your bangin hammers and pullin wet bouys out the water it sucks! Especially when yur born and raised on the coast of N. Carolina where an inch of snow shuts down the walmart (huge deal where I'm from, like the apocalypse) and schools out for 2 days. Send my happy ass back to the south
