electric problem

hey need some advice i plugged my personal heater in to the wall outlet in my room. when i turned it on all the power in just my room went out. how do i fix it. do i just reset it at the powerboard? its odd cause my over head light is still working just all the outlets are out

sounds like you plugged too much into the outlet. It was more than it could handle and flipped the breaker. you should be able to just flip the breaker back and it should be good. You might want to plug ur heater in on its own outlet.

yea it blew it lol oops i plugged into another and it works fine been havin electrical probs all night >:(

speaking of power issues. appearantly my school had a major power outage yesterday morning and they switched over to the backup generators. and in trying to switch back to main power grid this morning the power kept going out so i got out of class early! YAY
