Well since we have yet to hear anything aside from zipper losing socom Con: would this mean that maybe zipper has been completely pulled from socom and there won't be any map packs? Just my thoughts cause i mean if i was pulled from a project why the hell would i want to keep helping a previous one... know what i mean?

I BELIEVE that, when reading the main article about the Confrontation release, it stated that Zipper will still be working on something Socom related.

I may be wrong, but something rings about that.

Yes I believe Zipper is still working on a Socom 4 edition. Its going to be a little competition between slant six and zipper to see who comes out with the best socom. Zippers game comes out 2008 ;D

I have read that Slant Six is still working closely with Zipper on Socom: Confrontation, so they are not completely out of the picture.

yeah the game has gotten really laggy and most of the issues with it have been recent, ever since sony said up yours to zipper the game has slowly been on a decrease in use

So yes... you all read that right. There are soon going to be THREE new Socom titles coming out very soon. TWO for the PS3 and ONE for the PSP

I'm glad Sony is using another developer, it gives us the gamers a refreshed Socom with new ideas. I wished Zipper would stay out of the mix for good. I just hope they don't destroy their version of Socom for the PS3 because a lot of good shooter games are coming in the 4th Qtr!!!

I thought that some of the guys from zipper's development team went to work for Slant Six. That was somethng I heard anyway. Wouldn't that mean that the game should have all the components that we love?
