Bears promote Marinelli to D-Coordinator

Ugh. This is what our franchise has come to in 2010? No big name coordinators want to come in and coach under Lovie, who's seat is on fire going into this season. So instead we get a toss up in Martz and Marinelli as a last resort as our Coordinators. I believe the words he used "I'd love to take the job if it fell to me." Yeah it fell to you, all the way at the bottom of the candidate list. Nonetheless, I'll still stay optimistic. It's just becoming harder and harder this offseason. The way I see it is if it doesn't work out, the house will be cleaned after next season anyhow.

 

I'd like to see some big free agent splashes, but I doubt they'll break the bank this offseason with the coaching staff on the hot seat.
