Upcoming Server Migration

OK guys, as many noticed we had a major issue with Lunar Pages shutting UF down once again for to much resource usage...

 

With that being said, in the next 48 hours we will be completing a Migration to a new dedicated server that is not owned by Lunar Pages.

 

We will start this at 1:00 am CST after the new server is ready so it could be tonight or tomorrow night.

 

When we do this, the IP address of Urgent Fury will be changing to our new home. So if you are not able to to access the new server you can complete a Flush DNS

 

Google it if you need help...

 

If you are still not able to access the new server, you will be able to follow these instructions to edit your host file.

 

We will update the old server with the new IP addresses.

Does this mean anything to us regular members..?

I'm guessing that it was meant for staff members that need to access behind the scene things.

Us regular joes should be able to "access" UF the same as always correct.?

No this applies to everyone... the same issue accured with the lunar migration, we had several members that were unable to access www.urgentfury.com on the new server.

 

Depending on progress this may be done tonight or tomorrow at the latest, I am on the server now completing the installation and setup of various software and such.
