I would agree EXCEPT that apple did the smartest thing they could have done: signed contracts with many of the biggest textbook publishers. If they are able to get textbooks on those things for even just 10-20% less than what the hard copy's cost, that thing will take off like a fucking rocket ship. Outside of that, it seems ok.

Thats true i just see them not lasting as long as a normal computer and it being Fkd in a short period of time but yes apple did pull the smart string idk i guess we will see what happens

The video with Daniel Tosh is worth 100x more than the Ipad...

It's exactly, what maybe like 300 Iphone owners who can't see the screen, have been wanting...

i agree with most of you but for what i do being on the road alot a ipad is much easier to use than a laptop in a car .... i think it will be good for certain types of biz people ... for instance also will be good in the tattoo shop to show people drawings and shit on the fly intead of sitting at a computer ...

theres also a resterant in town that will have all there servers useing them for taking orders and shit ... i think theres a good and bad for diffrent people..

You know, I always thought it was worthless too. But that makes alot of sense. In certain business applications, it probably could be very useful.
