Someone once told me that it's because of their vision. They don't see colors like we do, so a dark skinned person registers like a reverse image or a photo negative. Then the dog may go on alert, because, to them, they sense something wrong or out of place.

yea my dog is find around my friend thats dominican but for some reason around my reallllllly dark friend he freaked out at first hes fine with him now but initial reaction is that something is wrong with them
