Holy shit dude that is a crazy plan. I hope your bringing more than a thousand because unless you plan on pedaling or walking your gonna spend a lot more than that on gas alone. Also I would advise you avoid most parts of downtown LA Compton and Watts for example. ???

You might want to figure the mileage of your car and how many miles you plan on traveling.

Just throwing it out there since I have done a cross country trip and it takes a lot of $

lol no the 1000 isnt going towards gas. we have tons of gas cards we have all saved since highschool. we started planning this shit freshman year and were supposed to do it last year after we graduated but we are just now able to afford it. and yes we are stayin away from that shit not lookin to get gang raped in the ass

Road trips are FUN!! I've been on alot of blacktop in this country and it's always been a good time. You kinda picked a bland route there, but you will still get to catch some cool stuff. Although, if you aren't planning on taking a trip like this again, you might want to reroute a bit. You are missing the whole south, it's an experience in itself. You will go through two of my favorite places though, Denver and VEGAS!!! IMO, you should avoid Vegas and go back fresh when you are of age. You could head south from Denver driving in the mountain(one of the best drives ever) into NM and across AZ to Cali. Either way it'll be a great time.

If you or anyone you know has AAA you can go down there and they will put together a sweet trip book for you. I had one when I drove back east but honestly I didn't need it to much since my route was pretty much get on the 40 drive for three days.

You can't miss New Orleans! You and your friends would have a GREAT time there. Austin, Texas has some great places to see. Lots of good music. Also, New Mexico is pretty, too. Your definitely should go south!
