Getting internet in the boonies..

Well here I am in my new house, stuck in the boonies. I have a few options now:

 

Dial-up

Satellite Internet- I believe they have daily limits though

Tethering through my Moo Droid

 

thats it right now i think. Although Verizon fios is supposed to be coming soon..

 

Has anyone tried Tethering their Verizion phones(such as the droid) to try and play socom online?

You're screwed till Fios comes in.

None of those options will work for online gaming. Sorry :-\

i had a tough time gettin internet when i was livin in the mountains at lake tahoe. i finally gave up..

Technically, Direct TV will work. But you will be pissed about getting booted every other round. Not very stable at all. It's ok for surfing, but worthless for downloads or gaming.

I think i got it:) I called AT&T late last night and they said that even though it doesnt show on their website, I do have dsl in my area:)

Lucky you. I live between two cities and I'm not close enough to either one to get internet...fail
