Ps3 Games..(NEED SOME HELP)

ok guys im finally getting a ps3 sad thing is i know i have it and i know itsi nthe house, btu i just cant play it yet lol. My wife bought me one , but she doesnt know i know.. LOL.. im like alitle kid lol

 

any how sad as this sounds, but i've only played one game since socom 2 and that is socom 3/CA. i know i let alot of games come and pass me do to i was hooked on socom and i have played COD4 over my friends house and was planning on trying to playin UF COD4 tourny, but with me getting this game this xmas i know i candeff play with my clan.....

 

so other then cod4 is there any other games out there worth getting?? im a hockey freak and not sure what is the ottes hockey game outthere at the moment.. but if some ppl can give me some games so i can add these to my xmas list of " if i get a ps3" to my wife lol that would b great....

Here are some games that I recommend for you.

 

1. Resistence Fall Of Man. It launced with the Playstation 3 so is a fairly old game but this game is a great shooter and the single player story is also very good.

 

2. Warhawk. Third person shooter, has sort of a cartoony feel to it. There are jeeps,tanks, and the best part, PLANES! It's online only..but extremly fun.

 

3. NHL 08. If you want hockey..thats the game to get.

 

4. Motorstorm. Also a launch game but very fun and addicting.

 

5. Guitar Hero III . This game is really fun and also very addicting..I'm guitar player though so thats why I enjoy it..it's not for everyone. ( pretty hard game )

 

6. Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.

 

7. Skate. Also just depends if you are into skateboarding but if you are I'd get this over tony hawk.

 

That's really it from me..some new games that I dont own you can look up on IGN or whatever gaming site you use.

RAW, It really depends on what you are into, since CoD4 will be your main shooter (along with Socom when it comes out), I'd look for whatever other types of games you might like.

 

Like Main said, "NHL 08" is the one to get for Hockey on PS3.

 

Personally i like the idea of

- Drakes Uncharted Fortune

- Assassins Creed

 

These ones are also proven winners

- Skate

- Motorstorm

- Rock Band (pwns GH3)

Well rock band looks pretty cool but it requires quite a few people to actually play it. It's not worth the money if only one person is playing.

I have to disagree with some those games mainly Resistance. I thought that was a horrible game. Motorstorm was ok not really my cup of tea. I love GRAW2 and EYE of JUDGMENT Proven Ground(tony hawk) NBA 07 NBA Street Homecourt, and for just a internet is down or when you dont really want to shoot everyone virtual fighter. My kid like Gundam dynasty warriors and def jam icon. That is my 2 cents
