there is a huge difference between religious belief and cultist belief. the islamic veil is part of their religious beliefs. to ban the veil is to take a stance against religion, where as the banning of the kkk's hoods would be a ban against cultist beliefs. you seriousley cannot compare these two groups. now, to say that these veils should be banned would be the equivelant of saying that catholics cannot wear crosse or, jews cannot wear the star of david.

no its not the veil is simply an extremists use of a religion to put an oppression on women. you dont see catholics not wearing crosses or jews not wearing stars of david as a serious dishonor to their family? i would go further but this is starting to head towards a religious debate and i dont wanna get into that.
