Urgent Fury: End Of Days

Chapter 1 (Urgent Fury: Cold War)

SOCOM: CONFRONTATION (PS3)

Launch Date: December 13, 2010

On Wednesday, 27 October 2010, during a less than routine patrol of northern Afghanistan & western China, two USAF pilots, Lt. Donald Evans Jr. & Capt. William "Tucker" Barnes went missing near the Mongolian/Russian border. It turns out that the intelligence the pilots had collected during their short flight, may prove or disprove once and for all, whether Russia is supplying weapons and support to the Taliban war machine in Afghanistan.

However, in the shadows of a Communist Soviet Russia, there hide those who would see the rise of a new Soviet Republic. Called BHETERA CHKOFF or The 5 Horns, these 5 factions or tribes represent those who would do away with a democratic Russia. They believe that the fall of Communist Russia was the cleansing of a damaged republic, and was a precursor to something greater. Setting the stage for the rebirth of a Soviet Russia.

And although the Cold War ended in the 80s for the rest of the world, they continue to wage their own Cold War, laying in wait, for the perfect time to strike.

Enter Sasha Kolov. Son of Col. Sergei Kolov, a legendary officer in the Red Army at the height of the Cold War. Known as The Grey Bear, Col. Kolov helped form the modern KGB and eventually Russia's Alpha Group (Spetsnaz CTU).

Living in the shadow of his famous father, Sasha Kolov enlisted in the Russian army, where he was an above average soldier. But, after a brief 3 year hitch, he was discharged after violently attacking a superior during a training exercise.

When the iron curtain fell, and democracy found it's way to Moscow. The new Russia wanted to wash away the stain of communism. That included the exile of the once legendary Col. Kolov. Who died alone and drunk, in a Russian jail.

Sasha Kolov swore that he would resurrect a new Soviet Republic, destroying those who destroyed his father. He uses a snake like charm to spew the venomous propaganda of his new world order, as he grinds his way through anyone who dares to stand in his way.

Self appointed leader of of The 5 Horns, he'd rather see the world burn, than serve a weak Russian democracy.

The USN's Lt. Commander Patrick Parrish (Call Sign Viper 1), must lead his team into Russia to secure the pilots, and the vital INTEL.
