GH3 is freakin awesome.. I was hooked with GH2.. and been playing GH3 at a friends house quite often.

 

Through the Fire and Flames is the greatest song EVAR!!!! I got like 65% on expert... Which is decent for THAT song.. dont believe me.. then check this out:

Guitar hero 3 is a really addicting game..I have it but I dont play online because I dont want to get owned lol. I'm stuck on hard mode..

I don't know about GH3, I had it then gave it to my brother.

 

I've been busting ass on Rock Band though. Beat it on Solo expert for guitar and drums, and my friends and I play Band World Tour, We beat the endless setlist, and kicked ass. Made the leader boards for a few days.

I just play it at my friends houses mostly that way I don't have to fork out the $100 just to get the game. I do have to admit though there was a time when I practically live at my friends house just so i could play gh2 when it first came out.

The only thing that I guess might be a deterent to a concerned parent is the heavy Satanic / Demonic-ish undertones.. Which are all over the game.. on the frets occasionally.. some devil chicks, and well.. satan himself i think is in the game...

Yeah, Age doesnt really matter man. If you think you are intrested in a game then why not buy it and who cares. ;D
