Ask whitesky and the other designers that do it...one could be it drops the quality of the image but bleh don't ask me.

EXACTLY. It does drop the quality, the outside effects do not work with .gif like it does as a .png. So to make the sig look great you have to chop up the sig to separate the animated part.

It doesn't drop the quality of the actual image, but it creates this white casting across the outside edges of anything that has shadowing. Making it one huge .gif will show any outside parts that aren't in a constrained portion. Such as a square or rectangle.

Mine is 9 pieces haha its fine. I just don't get why when I posted this it shrinks the other parts haha.

Yeah I checked, and we have permission up to like 15 I think....it maybe you just posted it incorrectly? IDK.

Idk I copied the same as the one I gave her and its fine on her sig.

Maybe something on the forum reduces some image sizes?
