best cheap ps3 single player games?

I'm thinking about picking up something to play while I wait. Any recommendations? (nothing over $15 please).

 

I see a couple of interesting titles I've never played for $15 or less:

 

Assassin's Creed (original): $14.99

Resistance: fall of man $9.99

Rainbow 6: Vegas $9.99

Fallout3: $12.99

Red Faction: Gorilla $14.99

Metal Gear Solid 4: $14.99

Fallout 3 or MGS4 would be my reccomendations. Both are stellar games, that will eat up plenty of time for you. Of course if you aren't that into RPG's F3 might be a stretch. Even though it is more of a shooter than it is an RPG.

From that list, i would say AC and R6. Although Rainbow 6 should be in your collection anyway. Its mad fun online too. I would say if you dont have them, Uncharted 1 or 2, but theyre still priced over $20 at Gamestop. Bestbuy has Uncharted for $20 pre-owned.

I didn't like the first Ac at all. Very boring and repetitive. Resistance is fun, but it's just your typical FPS shooting aliens. Story is ok, nothing to write home about. MGS4 is AMAZING!!! Only thing is you should have played 1-3 or else you'll probably be very confused with the story. The uncharted series is really good as well. Super fun game play, very good stories and they are 3rd person!!!

 

I'm disappointed because I bought Mass Effect 2 for this down time but I need the free DLC to get the info from the 1st ME, which I obviously can't get atm.

I liked MGS4. That was like watching a movie at times but the story and the game play was fun for me. It took over my life for a while. I even took my ps3 with me on vacation to keep playing it.

Resistance: Fall of Man is an amazing game, better than the second one. The story is amazing and well developed and the shooting isn't bad at all. I would say the story is better than the gameplay, but it is still an awesome game.
