So what do you guys think about the picks so far?

I love that fact that the Bears fucked Baltimore outta their first round position because of a disconnected phone call. lol Thats priceless. Jerry Angelo (Chicago GM) even manned up and stated it was not Baltimores fault, "it's was ours".

In the end it didn't change anything. The bears wanted carimi and he fell to them anyway- they thought kc was going to get him which is why they were trying to trade up to baltimore's spot. then jimmy smith fell to bal which is who they wanted. it made for some drama but nothing more.

 

my team (Eagles) are royally screwing up this draft.

 

rnd 1: a canadian guard who will be 27 years old in Nov who has played 4 years of organized football in his life.

rnd 2: saftey out of temple who would have been on the board in round 4, while desperately we need a corner and Brandon Harris is still on the board.

 

typical andy reid trying to outsmart everyone else. worst draft ever.

I thougt for sure KC was gonna grab Carimi before us. I was surprised he dropped so far. I was real surprised how many QB's went in the first round. I was thinking 2 maybe. lol

Well General while what you say has a lot of truth to it, it did change one thing and that was the extra pick Baltimore would have gotten. I believe it was a fourth rounder, but an extra pick is an extra pick.

True, but to get the extra pick you have to complete the trade. They didn't. If something illegal happened here the NFL would have stepped in.
