Personally, I think it is fake. I mean what indication does he have that makes him turn around while throwing his hand up? Well, if it is or isnt, it's still pretty cool.

It is fake. It is one of those viral ad campaigns. Like the NFL 'Pick me' commercials. It is very cool though. It my younger(stupid) days, I used to bare hand one hoppers at second base all the time. I'm pretty sure that's why I have issues with my hand these days. I couldn't imagine doing it on a line drive like that.

Ya I have played baseball my whole life and barehanding groundballs hurts when they get hit hard. I can't imagine a line drive. Fake.

It's fake, but you can catch balls like that bare handed. You see it in the stands all the time with foul balls...

Foul balls are mostly pop up tho, line drives are a different story. Most of the time line drive foul balls bounce off a couple people before they get caught. Plus they are almost always caught 2 handed regardless.
