E3:2011 – Master Chief Returns with Halo 4 in 2012

A teaser trailer for Halo 4 concluded Microsoft’s E3 news conference today. In it, the series’ longtime hero, Master Chief, awakens from cryonic sleep to the voice of Cortana, calling him by his name. He then grabs Cortana and flees the wreckage a ship hurtling toward some sort of portal.

 

Microsoft’s Don Mattrick said Halo 4 will be “part of a new trilogy.” The game is due for a holiday 2012 release.

All of these E3 posts seem like they are copied from Kotaku. Doesn't some sort of credit have to be posted at the end of the post like courtesy of Kotaku or does that not matter?

I usually try to thank whomever I get the stories from, and Kotaku is definitely one of the sites i go to to find news for the blog, but because it's E3 time I tend to get swamped with all the news coming out of LA. (and I do have a day job)

 

Kotaku and other sites like them are a big reason we even have a blog. I used to just post the news I found on the forum. Most of the larger news sites like Kotaku don't mind us using their stories, but alot of the smaller news sites do. Which is why I like to stick to the larger ones.

 

At the moment I'm the only one posting news to the blog other than staff posts, but we are in the midst of looking for writers to start writing our own news stories.
