Minor Security Breach of the server no User Data Compromised

We just want to be up front and let you know we have found a minor security breach on the UrgentFury.com website. We have verified that there was no User Data affected however this breach did allow the attacker to download some non public files and was intentionally done.

 

We have started the process of reporting this and will be advising of additional recommendations provided to us.

We will be blocking the ip address of this individual from accessing all websites on this server. This will include our hosting customer's sites as well.

Cyber spying typically involves the use of such illegally gained access to secrets and classified information or illegally gained control of individual computers or whole networks for an unethical and illegal strategic advantage and for psychological, political and physical subversion activities and sabotage. More recently, cyber spying invovles analysis of public activity on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.

We are not discussing details at this time but it was internal files that are confidential business files, though they are very old but when a business does something like this, it is not good or ethical.

Yes a business is involved that did it but we are not releasing any other details. We have turned it over for investigation and we are going to cooperate with the powers that be.
