I just realized you are talking about the Activity Stream... there are a couple of options, the old new post view has a link at the sub menu http://www.urgentfury.com/search.php?do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post or option 2 is you can turn your activity stream filter to Forums that is the top right hand corner on the Activity Stream page.

 

If more would like a New Post Tab added, we can do that as well...
