My First New Computer That I Custom Built Saturday May 18th, 2013

Well guys, you have all heard me talking about how much I wanted to build a computer to do gaming and editing and I managed to do it!

 

My Equipment Consists of:

- NZXT Phantom 410 Gaming Computer Case (Red)

- MSI 970A-G46 USB 3.0 Motherboard

- Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 7850 Graphics Card

- AMD 8-Core 3.5GHz Processor with an Overclocked 4.0GHz

- 120GB Samsung SSD

- Logitech Blu-Ray/DVD 24x Writer and 48x Reader

- Diablotech 575W Power Supply

- 500GB Western Digital HDD (From External to Internal for this special occasion;))

- Logitech Gaming Keyboard (MW3 Edition)

That is very cool. I've always wanted to try that.

 

One thing, western digital just went on sale at microcenter.com with a 3 tb hard drive for $119. Maybe try that for a hdd?

Lol I wish I had $120 bucks lol. My 500GB was originally an external that I already had so I just cracked open the case and took the drive out so it was basically free lol. What I really need is a bigger SSD>_< I only have 20GB left

Yeah, the fact that you pulled an external made me think of that sale. Because both western digital and seagate are on sale there at 3tb and they are externals too.

Yea I don't actually want externals. I have 6 drive slots for hard drives so I just wanna stick in my desktop

All I know is now that multi terrabyte hdds becoming affordable means I can finally use a playstation as a music server for all my music.

 

BTW, how much did the LG bluray player cost?
