Who all is going to do it? I'm going to preorder from gamestop monday to get the code.

 

For those that dont know all you have to do is pre order mgs4 and you get a code for the beta which starts in two weeks and then you can download it off ps store

I have a question. Can you pre-order it to get the code, and if you don't like it after the beta...can you cancell pre-ordered games??

You can just use the credit towards another game. (I think you only need to put down $5 to pre-order)

Yea, I thought of that after I posted. If I lose the $5, I don't mind. I figured if they offered the beta test on the PSN store for $5, I would buy it in a second.

I plan on pre-ordering this tomorrow as well. Not just for the beta, but also for the game. I'm a big fan of the MGS series, always have been. So I'll be clocking up with Solid Snake and giving the game it's early testing

Yes, its an actual disk with a code ticket inside.

yea but the disc is only a dvd with trailers and a history of MGS on it. so the disc has nuttin to do with the beta. just the ticket inside.. but it does suck that its so short of a beta

Yeah I just got mine today. The guy I asked at Gamestop was completly clueless so go in asuming that they have no idea what you are talking about.

I got my disc today. For PS3 users, you simply open a Master Account on the PSN (or use an existing Master Account), then from the PSN icon on the XMB, select 'Account Management', then enter 'Transaction Management', select Redeem PSN Card or Promotional Code. Enter voucher code. NOTE: Code is 'case sensitive', and must be entered exactly how it is displayed.

 

Click continue, you'll then be taken to the download screen. Have fun.

 

Download is available April 17th, 2008 to May 5th, 2008.

 

Beta is available for online play from April 21st, 2008 to May 5th, 2008.

I have no idea about that, this will be my first MGS game online. Just got my beta ticket and DVD for my preorder today. Download is available tomorrow!
