Urgent Fury migrates to Toornament

2 posts in this topic

It has been quiet around here for the last few years due to lack of games, a change in the way our members play and life. With that being said, we have decided to rebuild Urgent Fury around what we do best and that is Leagues and other tournaments. Our Signature TacMaps will eventually return but we are going to get back to our routes to build up an active competitive base on PlayStation.

So what is Toornament? Thanks to our community of organizers, Toornament hosts thousands of esport tournaments and competitions. We created the perfect platform to connect the esports actors around our common passion!

Toornament is a tournament management software...

With state-of-the-art tournament structures, participant management functionalities and sharing modules, we provide a professional-ready solution for esport organizers to create, manage and share their competitions, for free!

What that means for our community is a much more robust system for managing schedules, reporting matches and organization. In the next week or so, you will be able to connect your account directly to Toornament for direct registration to events, reporting matches, etc.

We are even ready to start our first league next month! For all of our members out there that like Ghosts Wildlands, we are going to announce the league sign ups shortly. Right now we will manually add everyone to the league but over the next few months we are working with our dev team to integrate the full system right into our website.

Feel free to comment with any feedback, be sure to check out the site as well.

Our login integration with Toornament is now complete, you can connect your Toornament account to Urgent Fury by going to https://www.urgentfury.com/settings/login/?service=13 or if you are registering for the first time, you can create your account by logging in with Toornament.

No passwords are shared between the sites, it is done using OATH 2.0.

This also works with our 2Factor options of Authy and Google Authenticator for those that would like an extra layer of security.
