call of duty with 2 ps3

hey im trying to play cod4 with a friend off a router and for some reason it wont let us join at the same time or even join the same party. does anyone have any ideas? any help will be greatly appreciated

I had the same problem when doc came over one night. I unhooked his until i got into the party then we hooked his back up and he came into the room. We had little problems but this seemed to fix it for a while.

thanks for the help guys but i figured it out. just had to open a couple of ports and it seemed to have sovled the problem
