1. I have to double click in a post box to post.

Chili what Operating system are you running? If XP, did you download service pack 3? (that came out recently)

Also, what browser are you using?

Sid, you may want to try to "roll back" the driver for your sound card under the device manager, if the update came with a newer version of the driver for your sound card, it might have screwed things up, so you can try that.

Chili,

I found the answer for both of our questions: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100059575&N=10000003+90401+501347

I went down there and they told be repeated use may be necessary to resolve all problems... But after that you will never have a problem with your device ever again.

Yes XP, & yes i just downloaded Service Pack 3 last week.

I'm sure it is either the Service pack (last week) or the latest updates (this week)

And I use I.E. ;D

Got anything.?

Should I uninstall Service Pack 3.?

I think i might have some of it fixed..

It is in the security settings, it changed a lot of things to "disabled" instead of "enabled" or "prompt"

MIGHT have fixed it, im not positive yet..

*edit*

Well it just did one of the same things to me. lol

I started typing after i previewed this post & i looked up and nothing had been typed.!?

But web pages seem to load ok now.

You should use the add on Foxmarks for Firefox. It keeps all your bookmarks and if you have another computer you can sync both of them.

Do you have safezone alarm or other anti-spyware programs on your computer..? The new updates are not compatible with some protection programs...look into it. I have experienced this firsthand.

LMAO. I had that happen to me twice and then I started backing up my bookmarks. Since then it hasn't happened since, not to mention that happened on an outdated version of firefox now that firefox 3 is out.

Sid, do you know anything about Macs or are you one of those PC users that hates it just because it's a mac? lol

In all seriousness, macs are the elite computer, no viruses, no crashing (that means porn all night w/o problems), and to answer your questions about games, all the big name games are out for PC and Mac. PLUS, you can install Windows on your mac if you can't live without it and it will run better on the apple hardware then on anything else. So people, please do your research before you blindly bash something.
