OBAMA OR MCCAIN WHO DO YOU CHOSE

Recommended Posts

DUDE the democrats have run the senate for the last 2 years. That unemployment rate was there during Bushes 2nd term. Pull out the number that it was when he was inaugurated it wasn't full employment like you have put there. That is right 4.5% is full employment. And the reason the spending is so frickin bad is becuase this damn government has spent us to oblivion. Democrats filibuster everything they could before they didn't own the house and now we are string at a huge deficit. But the way to help that is boost the economy, not tax it.

Oh and the approval rating is not because of the war. Their approval rating PLUMMETED after the first 6 months the dems took over the senate. It was in the mid 20's before that. And evern that was less then bush's approval rating. You want a statistic that is still in the mid 30's.

I really think it is funny you blame all this on the republicans. When most this catastrophe happened when the dems took over.

I don't agree with a lot of what has happened in the government but I don't put up numbers and blame a certain side. The whole system is messed up.

bush's first term was DECENT(excluding katrina) nothing went wrong(excluding iraq/katrina), we werent THIS screwed and gas wasn't even at 2 dollars. its his second term where everything began to go to hell.

true excluding katrina and anything that happened after saddam was captured and involved the war. But seriously bush always made an ass of himself all over the place, he represents the US and just like when one member of a clan does something bad when our president makes an ass of himself on the international stage well you know ;)

'Red': I agree on not pointing fingers, BUT these are 'BUSHS OWN WORDS':

REFERENCE(S):

THE 'TRANSCRIPT QUOTE', OF BUSH'S CONFERENCE (of July 15th, 2008):

I am sorry criticil I am not sure what I am supposed to get from that.

This didn't happen over night it has been brewing for a couple of years. Besides Bush has dropped a lot of things that I wished he wouldn't have. ONE is a border fence. And not just across Mexico but also Canada.

Understand one think I am not a Republican. I am a libertarian. Obama is the most liberal senator in the house. He is a socialist, in fact a FDR socialist on the verge of fascism. I don't want the government watching over private companies or even helping them out. Same with health care. Capitalism is what this country was founded on and should be praised. Instead everyone wants a hand out instead of working for it. I work my ass off to provide for my family and keep them all safe. The last thing I want to do is pay for illegal aliens, the bums down the street and especially those that bend the system. Yet I have to do that all anyway. It makes me sick.

I don't want taxes chalked on top of that to boot. You may say oh it is only the wealthiest 1%. But guess what those guys are giving us our paychecks. Tax them and you will see less jobs. No matter how much money Barrak throws at it, it is still coming out of OUR pocket.

just wondering, you want rich people to not pay taxes and be as free as bird, while people that work their asses off lose 15 or more percent of their salary to taxes?

A fenze across the border of both mexico and canada wont do anything, they will just under it. What there should be is more people watching the borders. and one thing many people dont know is those illegal aliens, the majority of them come to work in the fields, as farmers doing jobs i doubt anyone in the us would do. After the season is over they go back and the next season they come back. The best way to deal with it is just give them seasonal passes come work then leave and come abck, but only in agricultural jobs.

Well, if Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi say's it's so....

http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/pelosi-dems-bear-no-responsibility-for-economic-crisis-2008-09-16.html

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, when asked Tuesday whether Democrats bear some of the responsibility regarding the current crisis on Wall Street, had a one-word answer: “No.â€

Pelosi (D-Calif.) ripped President Bush’s “mismanagement†of the economy and a lack of regulation that led to the current situation.

“I think the American people have had it with this situation where the middle-income people in our country are not protected from the ramifications of the risk-taking and the greed of these financial institutions,†Pelosi told MSNBC.

When asked whether the Democrats “deserve some responsibility†regarding the economic crisis, Pelosi responded: “No.â€

Taken in light of my previous post about Democrats blocking more regulation 5 years ago. Make up your own mind.

On October 17, Banks' take on Laura Bush arrives with "W.," Oliver Stone's film biography of President Bush, played by Josh Brolin. On October 31, Banks co-stars with Seth Rogen in "Zack and Miri Make a Porno," Kevin Smith's comedy about two best pals and platonic roommates who shoot their own skin flick to cover their mounting debts.

"I'm pleased that Hollywood hasn't figured out how to pigeonhole me yet, and I think having these two movies come out at basically the same time is indicative of that," Banks, 34, said in an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival, where "Zack and Miri" premiered.

"I've always felt like a character actor in a leading lady's body, and Laura Bush is a very natural fit for me. I found a lot to admire about her as a woman and as a character to play. And I got really lucky in that I adore Josh Brolin, and we both approached the Bushes with the same point of view, which is that they're extremely in love and a very supportive couple, and that essentially, Laura wears the pants in the relationship, because all women wear the pants in the relationship, and he is smart enough to know that, too." Watch Laura meet George in "W." »

Banks also wears the pants in "Zack and Miri," or rather, the "granny pants," a pair of humongous underpants her character is caught wearing in a cell-phone video that becomes a Web hit. From there, Banks' Miri and Rogen's Zack move on to hardcore porn, certain they can sell enough copies of their amateur adult movie to pay their bills.

Tame by true porn standards, "Zack and Miri" does have some explicit nudity involving co-stars Jason Mewes and Katie Morgan. Banks was ready to show some skin herself.

"One of our first discussions was about nudity. I was like, 'OK, well, what's the porn going to be?' Because even in the script, it's just like, 'and they have sex,' or something. It was the bad porno dialogue, and then they do it," Banks said.

"Kevin sort of assured me that he didn't think that we would have to show a lot of my bits and parts. We'd probably cover things up and use some camera angles. But you know, I was fully prepared to go there for the movie, and Seth was, too. We were going to get naked, and it was going to be crazy and uncomfortable. Then Kevin sort of had this epiphany part way through that it would serve the movie a lot better if we just really had a romantic, beautiful sort of lovemaking session. It totally works in the movie. It's the sweetest, the most heartbreaking thing."

green = useless

navy = useless.

enjoy. ;D

First of CD. Do you know how the economy works? I didn't say don't tax, I said don't tax more. DO you know how much those companies pay in taxes. It is more then you will see EVER in your lifetime. The wealthiest 1% pay over 90 percent of the income taxes. I am sorry we want better economy. When they tax big companies who does it hurt? It is the worker and the consumer. Then they raise Minimum wage. Who do you think that hurts? It ends up hurting the worker and consumer. Because no company is going to first off hire someone that doesn't ahve experience for a higher wage. Then the company will downsize to cover the over head. Then it affects the inflation rate.

And don't be naive about a fence. GO under it. ::)

Right now there is NO BARRIER. What protects the US from terrorists coming here. NONE. Wouldn't something be better then nothing? I want something that shows that the governement is going to do something to protect its people. If not let us the people do it. I will donate to that cause.

Oh and I am sorry there isn't ANYTHING that Americans WON'T do. I work in the agricultural industry, I work with Manure and dirty shit all the time. You think that job is BENEATH me. NO I work hard and make a good living becasue of it. And those people DON't all go back to Mexico. They stay here work the system by taking someones identity or just flying under the radar. Costing the US tax payer over 26 Billion with a B every year. Now YOU tell me how that is helping US.

Sorry Red, you seem to be misinformed on this. I knew you would try and pull the "its the dems fault" card. BS!

FACT: the repubs in congress have not let one bill pass by the dems on the economy. This belongs to this brand of republican. Notice I keep saying this brand? I don't hate the repub party. But this isn't the repub party we have all grown to accept. LOL You can try as you like, but your spin will not help. It WAS and IS the reason that the congress approval rating is where it is. It is this unjust war that 80% + of America wants OUT!!! How do you not see that?

I didn't spin anything. The dems have been filibustering for political reasons. The repubs have been filibustering becuase those "bills" are choked full of underwriting that is crap. I will have to look again because I don't have it in front of me but those bills are tainted with agenda, not economic policy that will help.

Oh and this "brand" of republican is really the Kennedy democrat. Both parties are swaying left. That is why I left the Republican party. I see what is going on. 20% approval of the war.

People don't even remember why we are at war. We were attacked and haven't been attacked since. Al queda was in Iraq, a tyrant known as Saddam Husein was in Iraq. People wanted freedom we are helping them with it and will be better off because of it. We are nearly there, the people are learning how to take care of themselves, which means terrorists will be less likely to harbor there. Things are getting better. Do you really think that people want war? jeez

Obama Inflates Role in Creation of Stimulus Package

September 16, 2008 7:04 PM

In Golden, Colo., today, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., took credit for the stimulus package that passed earlier this year.

"In January, I outlined a plan to help revive our faltering economy," Obama said, "which formed the basis for a bipartisan stimulus package that passed the Congress."

Is that true?

Democrats on Capitol Hill who support Obama say no.

Wanting Obama to win, however, none will say so on the record.

Moreover, Obama today was guilty of inflating his role in the creation of that bill.

No, we remember why we are at war against terrorist. Last time I checked we weren't attacked by Iraqis on 9/11. LOL! The illegal war in Iraq is NOT the war on terrorist. We should be focused on Afghanistan and Pakistan where AQ and Bin are hiding. We didn't go into this illegal action to free ppl. That was the 4th or 5th shit ball reason they threw against the wall that stuck. Give me a break. ::) Things are not better, the region is less stable and Iraq is fragile as ever and not better off.

Oh ya that is what General Patreas said. He never talked about things getting better. That is sarcasm BTW. And I think there were MANY people who voted to go into Iraq and search for WMD's. People work with what they have and at the time it was the right thing. And yes the people are going to be better off. The US fought for YEARS after their independence. Ideology is hard to get past. Hell this country is still trying to get over the past.
