OBAMA OR MCCAIN WHO DO YOU CHOSE

WarPig, it has nothing to do with ego. I just accept that Gores claim was vetted through the legal system, which the Gore campaign initiated, and Gore got his recount. Just like I accept the Supreme Courts decision on Roe vs Wade. I disagree with it, but I don't dwell on it. That's my point. You are going to burn yourself up harboring so much hate and resentment for such long periods of time.

Not a prayer I originated, but I use it frequently.

"Lord give me the courage to change the things I can, the humility to accept the things I can't change, and the wisdom to know the difference".

Hmmm... interesting. I do too. For 14 years. ;)

I harbor no hate or resentment anymore with it. Just passionate about my beliefs with it.

This is nothing new for Governor Palin, telling it like it is. She took on those in her own party in Alaska that she felt was wrong, and it looks like those in Washington won't be free from such critisism's either, even if they are Republican's.

http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2008/10/12/politics/fromtheroad/entry4516282.shtml

The Republican vice presidential nominee also took a rare, direct jab at President Bush, whose approval rating continues to hover in the low 20s.

“America just can’t afford another big spender in the White House,†Palin said.

President Bush has done some good things, but one of things he has done very badly was spend us into debt. I was listening to the radio, and my Congressman Walter Jones was being interviewed about the $850 billion dollar bailout package, I don't have a reference for this since it was on the radio. But Walter Jones said:

"I asked Mr Paulson where was we going to get the money for the bailout, were we going to print new money, and Mr Paulson said, No, we will just got to banks around the world and borrow it".

Needless to say, my jaw hit the floor when I heard this and I hope all of you feel the same way. Enough votes in Congress on both sides that I can say "our government" is responsible for this. 18 billion dollars in earmarks this year, taxpayer money given to organizations that shouldn't get it, and only God knows how many funding projects this year that we could have done without. And now we are borrowing $850 billion dollars from foriegn banks? If there was ever a arguement for term limits at all levels of national government, this is it.

But back on point. When was the last time your saw a politician that was critical of another politician in their own party? I find it refreshing. I think this shows Palin's allegiance is the the American public first and foremost. I think it shows strength of character that just isn't seen anymore by our politicians.

I am banking on her. I have said it before and say it again, she is my gal. I needed her on the republican ticket to vote for McCain. She is the ying to McCains yang, experience with a pitbull in the background to keep the peace.

I am confident that if they are in office we will actually find out who is responsible for the Economic Crisis. With Obama in office we may NEVER find out.

Hog, that's not a big enough deal to me. She doesn't have the only real-estate on that. Have you watched the primaries? There were plenty of dems going against each other... as much as repubs going against each other. Now if she was making a stand against Ted Stevens, that might catch my eye.

She has proven herself a typical politician with this abuse of power thing. Her poll numbers are continuing south, (from 50% approval to now 39%) as they should be, and she brings nothing to the table but character attacks on Obama. She brings no ideas, no new thinking... nothing. A lot of ppl are buying her crap, cause she's cute. I'll give you that. LOL She's cute... but that's about it. No substance at all.

Oh, and I didn't know we have mutual friends, Bill and Bob?

So what you are saying, Obama is bringing something to the table NO ONE else has. Thats funny.

Palin brings things Obama has not even talked about. Going after special interest groups and leveling the playing field to keep the spending DOWN. Not taxing the crap out of companies that employ the american people. Taxing, historically, has never helped resolve debt in this country. NEVER

A small business owner, a plumber asks Obama a direct question, and to my suprise gets a direct answer. Check out this video:

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=abd_1223922155

What Obama is talking about is "wealth redistribution". That's taking money by force or threat of imprisonment from a person who legally earned it, and giving it to someone else. Because according to Obama, why shouldn't someone else benefit from your hard work too?

This is socialist policies of the worst kind.

Looks like Palin needs a few more pointers from the "straight talk express". She is now denying that the report says she did anything wrong or found her guilty of abuse of power. So she is straight up lying to the American ppl. She is a liar. Point blank a liar. She's not even stretching the truth... just lying.

Once again today, Obama outlined 4 more clear and concise plans to his economic plan.... McCain, after many surrogates announcing over the weekend that he would be also be doing the same had nothing again today. How long are even the conservatives going to put up with the lack of vision by Johhny Mac's campaign?

Actually, Obama and Cheney are distant cousins.

From the Wall Street Journal, Obama and ACORN:

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122394051071230749.html?mod=rss_opinion_main

But the organization's real genius is getting American taxpayers to foot the bill. According to a 2006 report from the Employment Policies Institute (EPI), Acorn has been on the federal take since 1977. For instance, Acorn's American Institute for Social Justice claimed $240,000 in tax money between fiscal years 2002 and 2003. Its American Environmental Justice Project received 100% of its revenue from government grants in the same years. EPI estimates the Acorn Housing Corporation alone received some $16 million in federal dollars from 1997-2007. Only recently, Democrats tried and failed to stuff an "affordable housing" provision into the $700 billion bank rescue package that would have let politicians give even more to Acorn.

All this money gives Acorn the ability to pursue its other great hobby: electing liberals. Acorn is spending $16 million this year to register new Democrats and is already boasting it has put 1.3 million new voters on the rolls. The big question is how many of these registrations are real.

Which brings us to Mr. Obama, who got his start as a Chicago "community organizer" at Acorn's side. In 1992 he led voter registration efforts as the director of Project Vote, which included Acorn. This past November, he lauded Acorn's leaders for being "smack dab in the middle" of that effort. Mr. Obama also served as a lawyer for Acorn in 1995, in a case against Illinois to increase access to the polls.

During his tenure on the board of Chicago's Woods Fund, that body funneled more than $200,000 to Acorn. More recently, the Obama campaign paid $832,000 to an Acorn affiliate. The campaign initially told the Federal Election Commission this money was for "staging, sound, lighting." It later admitted the cash was to get out the vote.

The Obama campaign is now distancing itself from Acorn, claiming Mr. Obama never organized with it and has nothing to do with illegal voter registration. Yet it's disingenuous to channel cash into an operation with a history of fraud and then claim you're shocked to discover reports of fraud. As with Rev. Jeremiah Wright and William Ayers, Mr. Obama was happy to associate with Acorn when it suited his purposes. But now that he's on the brink of the Presidency, he wants to disavow his ties.

The Justice Department needs to treat these fraud reports as something larger than a few local violators. The question is whether Acorn is systematically subverting U.S. election law -- on the taxpayer's dime.

As always, I encourage all to read the entire article and verify this information for yourself.

Johnny McBush is trying like hell to get this front in center. It has no traction and is nothing but plitical folly...

OREGON, Ohio — Barack Obama for the first time on Tuesday addressed the ACORN controversy that Republicans are seeking to attach to his campaign, minimizing the impact of alleged voter registration fraud linked to the activist group and stressing ACORN is not advising his campaign.

“We’ve got the best voter registration and turnout and volunteer operation in politics right now, and we don’t need ACORN’s help,†he told reporters at the secluded leafy resort outside Toledo where he is preparing for Wednesday’s debate.

The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, which registers low-income and minority voters who tend to favor Democrats, is under siege for allegedly falsifying voter registrations, and Republicans have sought to taint Obama with the allegations.

Obama in the 1990s represented the group in a lawsuit, and on Tuesday, he said that “as an elected official, I’ve had interactions with†the Chicago branch of the group, which he said has “been active,†according to a pool report.

“But they are not advising our campaign,†stressed Obama, who himself worked as a community organizer in Chicago before attending law school.

Nevada authorities last week raided ACORN’s state headquarters after the branch submitted voter registrations with the names of celebrities including Dallas Cowboy stars Tony Romo and Terrell Owens, and other voters came forward alleging they were asked by ACORN employees to submit multiple registration forms.

Obama’s Republican rival John McCain pounced on the controversy, releasing a statement last week asserting that given “ACORN’s recent efforts to engage in voter fraud and to disrupt our political system, Obama’s affiliation with this group raises serious questions about his judgment and ability to lead this nation.â€

McCain’s campaign has also called for an investigation of Obama’s ties to ACORN.

ACORN’s political action committee endorsed Obama’s campaign, which paid $832,598 to a consulting firm affiliated with ACORN for get-out-the-vote efforts, though it initially miscategorized the purpose of the payment.

“Obama has a responsibility to rein in ACORN,†said McCain running mate Sarah Palin, during an interview Tuesday with conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh.

Obama posited Tuesday that the alleged fraud likely was the result of a few bad actors, wouldn’t impact the election and shouldn’t be used by the GOP to try to bar voters from casting ballots on Election Day.

“My understanding in terms of the voter fraud — because having run a voter registration drive, I know how problems arise — this is typically a situation where ACORN probably paid people to get registrations, and these folks, not wanting to actually register people because that’s actually hard work, just went into a phone book or made up names and submitted false registrations to get paid,†he said.

“So there’s been fraud perpetrated probably on ACORN, if they paid these individuals and they actually didn’t do registrations, but this isn’t a situation where there’s actually people who are going to try to vote, ‘cause these are phony names, and it’s doubtful Tony Romo is gonna show up in Ohio to vote, so this is another one of these distractions that gets stirred up in the course of a campaign."

“But, what I want to make sure of is that this is not used as an excuse for the kind of voter suppression strategies and tactics that we’ve seen in the past. Let’s just make sure everybody is voting, everybody’s registered. Let’s make sure that everybody’s doing it in a lawful way,†he concluded.

More non-truths put out by McCain...

ACORN again.

http://www.cnn.com/video/savp/evp/?loc=dom&vid=/video/bestoftv/2008/10/14/ldt.tucker.acorn.cnn

Take notice that CNN reported that Obama has "changed" the description of his relationship with ACORN on his website.

If there's nothing to hide or lie about, why the obvious move to decieve his supporters and undecideds?

Obama's government is going to be transparent.... or is it?

Not "next".

Obama say's it's so, and it's so? Maybe on planet Obamatron, but the rest of live here on Earth.

This is just yet one more example of Obama changing his message, yesterday he was proud of his ACORN ties and today he throws them under the bus. So far, he's thrown a campaign advisor, his preacher, his campaign bundler, his friend of 11 years, and his OWN GRANDMOTHER under the bus. He doesn't give a dime to his half brother living in a 9 foot by 9 foot shack and living on a couple of dollars a week.

Just to name a few off the top of my head. If Obama doesn't give a darn about his own half brother or Grandmother, do you really believe he gives a darn about YOU?

Remember the plumber Obama talked to? The plumber and possible future tax victim of Obama did a interview:

The man may not buy the business and create the jobs he WAS planning on until he talked to Obama. Now he's going to wait and see. How many people did Obama just put out of work?

Make up your own mind. But "next" will come when I choose to talk about "next". I have plenty more to discuss on this subject, but tonite I was busy playing Confrontation.

NEXT... means keep trying dude... keep trying.

This will have no traction Hog and I'm really surprised you pushing this. This will be dead in the water in a week. You can keep attacking Obama but ppl know him now. After 20 months of campaigning we know all about him. These issues have already been tried by Hillary. McCain is taking pages from her playbook now. I guess when you're down like he is and your own base is bashing on you... you have no where else to go.

Good luck with trying to convince a few gamers here of those lies and distortions you keep posting. You're just trying to demonize your political opposition in any way possible, because you feel insecure about the blatant failures of the current McCain you seem so keen to support.
