Found these quotes quite interesting.

"Well, Charlie, what I’ve said is that I would look at raising the capital gains tax for purposes of fairness." - Barack Obama

So they want to punish success?

"It’s because you have an obligation to yourself. Because our individual salvation depends on collective salvation." - Barack Obama

Again, why punish the people who went to college, got a real job, and were successful.

How about the Joe Biden quote where he calls paying taxes "Patriotic?" Get the fuck out of here. What have YOU done for our country, sir? What a joke.

Bottom line, both supposed parties are corrupted in their own ways and just plain terrible for the country. In my own perfect world, there would be no parties, the media would be regulated, and retards wouldn't be able to seek office.

Scare, you aren't seeing the hole picture and I don't know where you get your info on Obama, but everything you said holds no water about him. Deregulation is one of the main reason we are in this crap. Which McCain is the champion for. All I'm saying is this is plain for anyone to see. It's very simple. McCain and company don't want it to be. Every single person in this race has taken earmarks. Obama, McCain, Biden and Palin! That's NOT the problem or the issue right now. Unless you are making 250k + a year... which I doubt, being you hanging out in college drinking everclear and listening to the doors. Your safe buddy. ;)

Go to factcheck.org and see all the lies uncovered about Obama's tax structure. Cause right now you are quoting nothing that exists in it.

Good point, but considering you made the point, you must be able to see what I'm saying. The lobbyist and corrupt fuckers running them wouldn't have anything to run if they were no parties. No cliques or subdivisions that can easily be persuaded by one powerful member. As for the retards, see my example.

true lol. ;D ;D

i use wikipedia, i fail that class. which blows.

1. I find it funny as hell you admitted to being in remedial English.

2. The reason you fail for using Wikipedia is because Schools don't see Wikipedia as a factual source of information. Even though most articles are done very well, the fact that it doesn't require proof of a statement for use means that the entire site can't be trusted.

Right J-Rite?

The high school students in Eastern Alleghany County in Pennsylvania are all writing in the vote for Mickey Mouse, this is no lie, you can critisize us if you wish but F both of these two. That will be all.

-WPIAL.

Why, is your school voting for Bush again? (THINK 'OUTSIDE THE BOX'...before you reply to this!)

Okay, I'll give it away: Bush "is" Mickey Mouse.

The two major things going on right now can be laid right at the Democrat's feet. High gas prices and house forclosures. The gas thing started about 30 years ago with President Carter. And the housing crisis started 13 years ago when Presdient Clinton signed into law housing financing laws that encouraged bankers to loan money to those who would not be otherwise qualified.

But the Democrats are not the only culprits. I blame the entire government. They let the American people down big time.

The lesson to anyone who's thinking of purchasing a house in the future. Used a FIXED rate. The Variable rates is what did this, those loans that increased as the interest increased.

I can't believe this got glossed over. Hog, you are 110% right about that. I know quite a few people that went with ARM loans and are now paying the price. I can't believe so many people went for that crap. I got a 30 year fixed and haven't looked back. I feel bad for the people that didn't though. They are the ones losing hosues and cars and all the rest of their shit over this craziness.

I am afraid the party's are no longer what they used to be... Its official and here is the breakdown:

Republican party is now- socialist/ global

Democrat party is- socialist/ communists

American Party is- people who will not put up with this shit too much longer

8)

I will agree with Sid. The Republican party or at least thier leader (Bush) has turned socialist, and seems now to disagree with thier stance on smaller, less intrusive govt....LoL... You cant be a free capitalist society when times are good and not face the music when you fucked things up.....Bailing out thier failed policies would be rather commical if the ordinary joe (like me and you) wouldn't have to suffer the burden....Oh yeah, and as far as Palin goes I dont think I have to say much as the country is starting to get to know who she really is and how stupid she really is. Why dont all of you Palin FANBOYS ask her what she did with the money she got to keep (HUGE FUCKING EARMARK) after congress killed the bridge to nowhere.

And kudos to Hog for the post on how Obama did NOT undermind a sitting pres during wartime. If I got that wrong sorry, I am still in a festive drunken mood...Its been party time here even though rome burns at home.

Ehh, I would say Mickey Mouse has more common sense and brain power, Bush is more like Goofey.

What's goofy, is American's making bad decisions with their own money, and they expecting the US government and their fellow tax payers to bail them out.

I feel bad for those who took on a APR mortgage. But that was a private and personal decision made by the individual, and it was a poor choice.

That's how people gain experience, by making decisons for themselves. So now the whole world learned what I knew when I purchased my house in 1995, APR loans are a bad idea. People tried to talk me into taking on a APR, telling me it would save me money over a fixed rate. But the common sense factor in my head told me that I didn't want to put my house loan at the mercy of the federal interest rate which can and will fluctuate.

This is possibly the most untrue statement in this thread! Hog, c'mon dude... you can't be serious? Let me help out here...

McCain chief of staff/lobbyist was paid $2m by Fannie and Freddie for access to McCain and to stop regulation of banking industry, which is the PRIMARY reason Fannie/Freddie fell. Senator John McCain’s campaign manager was paid more than $30,000 a month for five years as president of an advocacy group set up by the mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to defend them against stricter regulations. But wait, that's right NOW he's for those regualations! Hahaha!!! Johnny playing the switch a roo again.

Gas was $1.46 when Bush/Repubs took office... it's now $4.00. I don't see how in the heck you are blaming someone from 30 years ago for that! LOL Please explain... I'm dying to hear this one?

I'd like to hear this as well. I personally can't hold Bush accountable for the high gas prices. With the the obvious rising global demand for oil, and the speculative investment climate, both of which having nothing to do with our government, the prices would have hit the four dollar mark under any president. One thing is for certain, Bush will get blamed for the gas price increase. Look what Reagan did. His four years was nothing but blaming Carter. Expect the next president to do much of the same.

I agree there. Although I do think some of the Bush policies have lent to not a great climate of "works well with others"... LOL ;) Who knows.

Also on the topic of who helped create the troubles of today...

McCain housing policy shaped by lobbyist draft_lens2004966module9719326photo_1211941527mccain_grahm.jpg

Swiss bank paid McCain co-chair to push agenda on U.S. mortgage crisis.

Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain's national campaign general co-chair was being paid by a Swiss bank to lobby Congress about the U.S. mortgage crisis at the same time he was advising McCain about his economic policy, federal records show.

News of Gramm's involvement as a paid advocate for the banking industry, simultaneous with his unpaid work on McCain's economic policies, comes as McCain's campaign continues to reel from the purge of four other lobbyists. Two weeks ago, McCain banned lobbyists from advising him on the same subjects covered by their lobbying work.

McCain spokes man Tucker refused to say publicly that Phil Gram was not going to be considered for Treasury in a Palin McCain admin. LOL Gram is one of the biggest causes of this crap happening today. America wake the fuck up!!! Voting for McCain is like chickens voting for Colonel Sanders! LOL

Lets not talk about the CEO and financial leaders at Fannie Mae. Because those 2 were both heads in Clinton's cabinet. Besides it looks like McCain is trying to rectify what has transpired. Democrats and Republicans alike have their hands dirty on this.

There are many fingers to point in every direction. And I am sure after the election we will find out WHO!

At this point, it doesn't matter to me who is president. Now a days, the so called conservatives are so far left they make Jack Kennedy look conservative and the term democrat refers to a party of socialists.

To me, my issues are taxes and freedom. Barack Obama threatens both and will never get my vote. His whole notion of change is all smoke and mirrors. He has promised nothing more but to tax the living hell out well deserving Americans and I will not stand for it.

Do yourself a favor and do a bit of research on a certain piece of legislation called the Global Poverty Act. You will be surprised at what you will find.

Socialism - The stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.

If this were true then you would have specifically pointed out where he has said this and where in his blueprint he plans on doing this. I'll tell you what is smoke and mirrors... your posting about Obama dude. You keep making blanketed statements with no back up or links to factcheck them. You can kid around and keep yelling Socialism,Socialism!!!!!! Democrats,Democrats!!!!! all you want, But it holds zero credibility when you can't back it up. It makes you seem a bit out of touch from reality man. Try again. ;)

I'm not arguing back and forth anymore WarPig, if all you can do is say that I am spreading untruth's while not providing any evidence from a reputable source to back up your stance, then knock yourself out. I have already in this thread posted two reputable news reports explaining how the Democrats blocked corrective action against Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in 2003 and 2005.

John Biden in action....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTBZHf6WyG0&eurl=http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/23/biden-on-fdrs-management-of-the-1929-crash/

Uh... wrong. FDR didn't take office until 1933 and television wasn't the main medium to the American people for another decade after 1929. That speech Biden is referring to never happened.

You're not Joe? Better talk to Obama, he said clean coal technology is a resource that he would develop as President.
