RawTaLenT-- Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 I hate how they schedule the first round time so early. Had to take a V-day from work for it lol. Anyhow good luck Brewers Fan! Quote
RawTaLenT-- Posted October 1, 2008 Author Report Posted October 1, 2008 Good defense by the brewers has the phillies up 3-0 top of fourth Woot Woot Quote
Prane Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 This is bullshit its not on t.v. here in Chicago > Quote
RawTaLenT-- Posted October 1, 2008 Author Report Posted October 1, 2008 It's on TBS here in philly. Im sure chic has TBS? Quote
Xx-CHURCHY-xX Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 The entire playoffs is on TBS so everyone in the nation has to have that channel Quote
RawTaLenT-- Posted October 1, 2008 Author Report Posted October 1, 2008 Yea I was pretty sure everyone had TBS but when he said he didnt have it aired there had me thinking lol Quote
Prane Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 WOO HOO!! Of course I have TBS but it didn't even cross my mind that it would be on there. Normally they carry all of the Braves games with them out of the picture I figured no more TBS til next season. Quote
RawTaLenT-- Posted October 1, 2008 Author Report Posted October 1, 2008 your welcome....LMAO Trust me your not missing anything Phillies DOMINATING THE GAME SO FAR Quote
Prane Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Hamels is tearing it up right now. I think both teams are a little quick to swing right now. Quote
GeneralWar Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Xx-CHURCHY-xX ]The entire playoffs is on TBS so everyone in the nation has to have that channel not the whole playoffs, its on Fox also Quote
Xx-CHURCHY-xX Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 I know that. It's an alternating deal. TBS gets all Division Series games unless a game overlaps another game --> Game will be played on TNT TBS gets all ALCS games on even years (2008, 2010, 2012) NLCS games on odd years (2007, 2009, 2011, 2013) FOX gets all NLCS games on even years (2008, 2010, 2012) ALCS games on odd years (2007, 2009, 2011, 2013) FOX gets all World Series Games (until 2013) Quote

Quote
GeneralWar Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Breweres trying 2 stage a comeback Quote
Prane Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Hart blew it as Phillie wins game 1 in a very well game pitched by both teams. Quote
GeneralWar Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Lidge finally closed it, damn he threw a lot of pitches Quote
RawTaLenT-- Posted October 1, 2008 Author Report Posted October 1, 2008 "trying" man that was to scary for me in the ninth! I'm not going to lie Fielder scared me there in that a bat in the night! Quote
GeneralWar Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 yeah, Fielder was going for that homerun, they should of kept Hamels in Quote
RawTaLenT-- Posted October 1, 2008 Author Report Posted October 1, 2008 yeah, Fielder was going for that homerun, they should of kept Hamels in no doubt! Lidge warming up and hammels batting spot never came up should of let hammels come out for one batter then take it from there Quote
GeneralWar Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Hamels dominated that game, let him pitch the shutout Quote
Prane Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 plus everyone on the Brewers got an unnecessary look at Lidge. Why not keep him locked up til tomorrow. Hamels had just reached 100 pitches and looked great still. Quote
GeneralWar Posted October 1, 2008 Report Posted October 1, 2008 Hamels would of closed that game more smoothly and your right, Lidge should of never came in Quote
chiggitychang Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 Phils hasn't wont a playoff game since 93 so why wouldn't the manager put in his closer who has been perfect all year to solidify the phils first playoff win in 15 years!!! I say good call... If the game was say 5-0 I'd say leave hamels in, but it was 3-0 hence the closer being called upon. Quote
GeneralWar Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 yeah, but save closer for next game so they don't get a look at him & let Hamels continue to dominate and close it out Quote
RawTaLenT-- Posted October 2, 2008 Author Report Posted October 2, 2008 Yea I'm a philly fan LOL but i agree should of left hammels in! 3 hits going into ninth. And to be honest Lidge has been shaky last few outings! But hey we got the win all it matters. But I can see what he's saying hes an All-star closer hasnt blown a save yet! And hes paid to close the game! Quote
GeneralWar Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 yeah, I understand his point, just my opinion and Lidge has been very shaky, I agree wit that Quote
