plus everyone on the Brewers got an unnecessary look at Lidge. Why not keep him locked up til tomorrow. Hamels had just reached 100 pitches and looked great still.

Phils hasn't wont a playoff game since 93 so why wouldn't the manager put in his closer who has been perfect all year to solidify the phils first playoff win in 15 years!!! I say good call... If the game was say 5-0 I'd say leave hamels in, but it was 3-0 hence the closer being called upon.

Yea I'm a philly fan LOL but i agree should of left hammels in! 3 hits going into ninth. And to be honest Lidge has been shaky last few outings! But hey we got the win all it matters.

 

But I can see what he's saying hes an All-star closer hasnt blown a save yet! And hes paid to close the game!
