I've been playing hockey since I was 5, I've seen this happen a few times before always to a kid around 19. The only thing I can think of is that in all the gear we wear you get extremely hot. You can overdue it pretty easily, gotta stay hydrated.

wtf' date=' no. the rangers were doing so well. how do you get a heart attack at 19, that guy seemed to be in good shape and good health? that sucks though RIP.

There's rumors in the underground that the kid was prescribed HGH (Human Growth Hormone) in his prior years and it fucked his heart up. Not official, but I've got pretty good sources on this kind of stuff.

Thats so false!!!! I rec. not taking no more info from your source.

a. before there drafted they take heart and blood exams. something like that would be picked up if he took that crap.

b. he was just not getting enough blood to his heart. He prob would of lived but the medics took to long to get there and they didnt have a defibrillator.
