Preset Weapons Saves

Before I started playing I went and set up a bunch of weapon presets. I have several different combos like for close courters battles etc. But before the matches I don't see where to select those presets that I set up. I am stuck with the first one I made up. I can change it's weapons around before the match. But then that's only for one side like if I'm commando but I can't fix the Merc. That part doesn't make sense there should be a way that I'm not seeing.

 

So how do you select your presets before the match?

Did you not play the old Socom's? We've never had that option for this game. ;D

 

However, switching after you die was much, much, much faster before. You had enough time to do it, if you hurried, after you died as the last man left. it takes forver to switch now.

I haven't seen this either. I have a handful or so slots to save presets but no way of getting to them without backing out of the game and loading them.

 

And does anyone know where I can find the calendar, the ladder, etc? I haven't seen that option anywhere on there. And I still cant figure out how to get people to follow me in game. I'm still having to put my location in my comment box. There's also, according to the booklet that came with my game, a Community Portal and Downloads option within the Community. I don't see those either. Did they forget to add these things?

I wouldn't say they "forgot", but they are not in there at this time. There is no Ladder, no "following a friend into a game" option/party system, and no Portal or Downloads (yet). The calender is there for me, everything will come in future patches and DLC.

The presets are there when you select your Camo etc... Then there's a spot that says save. So I saved about 3 options.

Why wouldn't you want Desert Camo for Urban?

for camo i know that depending for the game map or light conditions it will change it for you, so lets say crossroads night you will start the game with the night camo.
