Why doesnt mic show up in socom if connected to ps3?

I dont understand. I synced it to my ps3, but when i turned on socom, it still showed up as me not having a mic.

 

Any help would be much appreciated, Im still hearing talking through my tv and cant talk

Did you set your blue tooth up as your default mic?

If you do the find it Sync, then you dont get the extra features, remove it from your PS3 altogether. Then charge it with a PC or something, then hook it up to the PS3 via USB direct, not to the dock, and turn the power on, it will Sync automatically and give you ALL features.

Its my only mic, its the only bluetooth item connected. Do I still need to set this default mic business?

Yes, go to your accessory section and go to audio options i believe. Just make sure it is set up to be the input and output for your mic.

All you have to do is follow the simple instructions in the SOCOM manual that came with the game. Plug the mini-usb DIRECTLY into your mic (there is a port at the top that you may not have noticed), then plug the other end into your PS3. Wait for the green light to flash a couple times (takes like 3-5 seconds), and you are all set.

Mine does not show up in my accessories as a bluetooth device rather it showes up as a wireless headset.
