It LOOKS like a tackle from that view, but then again if the GC's QB can't shoulder through that then he shouldn't be running the ball in the first place.

It's like being blind-sighted. The QB probably didn't expect that, which is why he got trucked into the floor. He was bracing himself for the tackle from the REAL linebacker, not the Ref who had a flashback and wanted to go Brian Urlacher on his ass

 

But I love how the SEC said that the Ref was in the proper position at the time and he did nothing wrong... yea.. sure
