I have a similar chair, and it doesn't hurt my neck at all..

I guess it depends on how high your TV is.

I don't game on my couches. I don't like fascilitating the eventual butt- indent that couch potatoes put in otherwise nice couches.

I have an 'alternate seat' whenever I game to preserve the furniture.

I used to game in a beanbag.

Then I used to game in a folding director's chair.

Nowadays I alternate between one of those folding nylon beach chairs and my hammock chair. When I fall asleep on Ravenfall during late night Masses......I'm in the hammock chair. Damn thing is like a cotton cloud lullaby. LOL

i've bought many chairs like this.... but they never last long. they are very comfortable... hopefully my new one will last a while.... i'm using a bean bag chair now and it sux!!!
