I just tool it as we needed at least 16 clans for the tournament to start. We could take more clans if more were accepted.

But where does the Bugs of Klendathu come into that picture? Sure, Rico's Roughnecks led battle to find the brain, but that doesn't mean the Bugs are done fighting.
