Whats the story with the Ribbons that go around your rank? Typically different colors. I believe I have a grey ribbon around my rank currently and have no idea what it means. I believe it has something to do with ranking in a top tier percentile but I can't find information on it anywhere. Are the called Honor ranks? Killzone.com doesn't seem to say anything about it.

ok i just got the spawn specialist rank and been using it but i have a few difficulties:

 

sometimes i see that i have one spawn grenade available but all of a sudden when i check back to throw it i dont ???

 

the spawns i throw disappear randomly.. sometimes i throw one that last for 5 minutes sometimes they disappear within the first 2 minutes. i even threw one once that never detonated or something... it sucks cause since that one didnt worked we all had to start at our spawn and we lost the S&D round.

 

i think the same shit happened with the turret placing.. sometimes they where available sometimes dont?

 

and also how do you combine abilities or badges whatever. i finished the whole healing specialist part but i cant seem to be able to use it anywhere else... they say you can combine it with another class. ???

The flying bot is a secondary ability for the tactician. I believe you have to have at least 5 people use your spawn point per map and that has to happen 5 times. If you accomplish that goal the secondary ability I believe is unlocked. The ammoc crate repair ability and turret repair ability is the secondary badge for the engineer. In order to unlock that one you have to set up a turret and have it rack up 5 kills on any given map 5 times. It sounds easy but it's pretty tough and that one is probably the toughest ability to earn. The Medic's primary ability is the revive gun the secondary ability is the health pack which you can use yourself if you so choose. The ability breakdown for each class is in the instruction manual. However it doesn't say how to unlock each ability. I found the answers to those questions here and killzone.com.

 

Hellraiser. I'm not sure on this but based on what I can tell you need to earn the ability each round to use your abilities by getting kills. I could be mistaken but that always seems to be the case. I rake up some kills and then have the ability to set turrets or spawn points depending on the class. Killzone.com doesn't really seem to have the answer. They really need a diverse FAQ to answer all the random questions but currently it's only 4 or five questions long.

It might also be based on how many are allowed per team. If everyone is using the same perk, it could get pretty ridiculous. For example: if every player on your team throws 2 spawn grenades then the whole map would be spawn points.

2. the tactician rank up perk is the spawn point grenade, green for friendly and red for enemy. If 5 or 10 not sure on number spawn on it you get the medal, 8 of these medals gets you the sentry bot unlock.

 

3. to revive you need the gun, to heal yourself or someone else you give them the pack; but the pack is unlocked after the gun.

Does the medic gun replace your revover? How do you actually call up the flying bot?

Yea, I'm definitely guilty. I never thought I would buy this game until I started watching every gameplay vid and reading every pre-review. And I'm proud to say I'm glad I got it.

Lol today i was with saboteur and was going around putting C4 on people. So i was like "Let me give you health so i can get this badge" lol 3 second later BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started messing with the Saboteur yesterday and wasn't doing so hot. Everyone always seemed to get saavy in a quick hurry and it's not turret proof.

Funny how a GOOD, well made game can make you overlook the things you thought mattered. lol

 

It's not a ray gun in that manner but rather a ray that you shoot at your fallen teammates to revive them from death. Everything else sprays bullets.

 

Oh yeah, I saw that on the War Channel on DTV. ::)

yea i hate that turrets see me, but im used to it, lol, its just funny seeing people blow up with a C4 stuck on their back.
