Yes, somehow they got around what ever microsoft was doing to block content for PS3.

 

G4 Tech TV announced there will be Downloadable content comming out and the Ps3 will actually be included in the release.

 

Wikipedia says there are 2 packages comming out, one in june and one un july.

It’s the same three DLC that are already available on the box.. The PS3 is finally getting them..

 

Operation Anchorage.. large DLC that gives new power armor and stealth armor as well as the Gauss scoped Plasma gun.

The Pitt.. medium sized DLC that gives powered axe melee weapon some ulseless new metal and leather armor and a great silenced assault rifle.

Broken Steel large sized DLC that gives enclave fire armor tri fire plasma gun and improved flame thrower also lets you hear liberty Prime again and lets you go past level 20 to ten new levels as well as new perks.

Later there will be two totally new DLC’s for both consoles.

Point Lookout – Explore a massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content.

I am the "Savior of the Wasteland" all skills maxed at level 20.. four followers (its easy if you know how) and every armor and weapon available in the game..

looks like I'll need to finally start playing my copy of fallout 3 so I can enjoy the Pittsburgh DLC. I was sooooo bummed when that was released for the 360 and not the PS3. I'm from Pittsburgh so playing post apocalyptic Pittsburgh would be pretty cool.

I think a lot of this content has a time stamp on it for exclusivity. Take GTA IV for example. Supposedly the Lost and the Damned content will be free from XBOX exclusivity contract in August I believe. So they are saying this will come to the PS3 after that date in the contract.

In May 2009 Bethesda announced that the existing DLC (Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt and Broken Steel) would be made available for the Sony PlayStation 3; along with two new pieces of DLC (Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta) for all platforms.[55] There will be a Game of The Year edition of Fallout 3 which includes the full game and the complete set of all five DLCs. It is expected to be released in the U.S. sometime in October; however an exact release date has yet to be announced by Bethesda.
