Is there a certain way you have to save images and video while using Firefox as your web browser? Everytime I do, it goes to a DL'd list and that is it. When I check my pics or video folders, there is just an icon that won't open. And everything on the list won't open either.

Also, after DL'ing Firefox awhile back, my Windows Media Player doesn't work. Anyone have any suggestions for this??

I often have probs saving images too.. so what i do is minimize the Mozilla window so i can see my desktop and the Mozilla window.. and then click and drag the photo to my desktop.. works like a charm. It does call the image "download" that might help you find it when you save as well.. hope that works.

For saving video (and lots of other media types) I like to usethe Firefox plugin called, UnPlug: http://unplug.dbatley.com/ which is working great in FF 3.0.10

I recommend getting some add ons to help make fire fox a little more functional for you. I hope this helps.

I like

Download manager: 2 options I use the second

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/26

Adblock Plus:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

IE Tab: This changes a fire fox tab to an internet explorer tab in seconds

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419

Windows Media player plug in for Fire Fox: This will make it so you can watch embedded windows media player videos on websites.

I also recommending the google spell checker if you don't have it already.

I have them all on my windows XP lap top as we speak. All but one of them are pieces of software that are closely developed with Mozilla the company that makes fire fox. The last one had to come from microsoft because windows media player was designed to not work in any other browser so it was up to them to come out with a plugin to fix it.
