How do I get some of the files onto my new computer? Is the an online program that can help?

The Laptops start up has a file transfer option from your old computer to your New. But the Laptop is not plugged into the internet. I suppose I need to connect the computers someway.

Well there are a couple ways, I think the easiest would be to use an external hard drive and transfer them. The cheapest (If available) although also somewhat time consuming option. Would be to put what you want to transfer in a zip or rar file and load it onto the FTP for your website and then download it through your laptop. I'de much rather use an external though. Or is you have it a USB to USB file transfer may work if you have the right cord to hook your desktop to your laptop.

The cheapest is to open up a new network on your desktop, then plugging an Ethernet cable between your laptop and your desktop. Then you just temporarily mark all files as shared, and DL what you need.

Afterwards, check as unshared, and delete your network. I would advise that you unplug your desktop from the internet while doing this, as to ensure the privacy of your newly created network.
