Yeah the tribute brought back some tough memories for me and I wasn't even there. I remember exactly (like I am sure everyone else) what I was doing that morning. It was shift change at the station when they told me that a plane hit the WTC. We sat there glued to the TV and contemplated how dumb that pilot had to be to hit that tower. We were discussing that he may be drunk or whatever when out of the corner of the TV I seen the other one hit. I am pretty sure all 6 of us said "We are being attacked!" pretty much at the same time in unison. It only got worse from there. We are coming up on the anniversary once again. Make sure you thank your local Public Safety (FD, PD, EMS) and let them know how much you appreciate them for putting their lives on the line to save others.
