can't believe you guys are still around...

actually i did provide proof to johnson30 when i talked to him on the phone for 30 minutes the day after the 1st set of wars in this tourny. at the time i had no pc to email him what i found but i laid out VERY clear directions on how to find the gamebattles profiles of the 2 aiel players and yes at the time the one vr player ( shes no longer on the gb team ) that i found to be currently on gb teams, one of the aiel players was a LEADER of a gb team and the other was a co-leader. i provided exact team names and player names, as well as one players second psn name and all the teams he was on currently. yet after all that im sorry i couldnt spoon feed the info directly to you with a direct link but like i said at that specific time i was waiting to get my laptop back from toshiba, however i find it VERY amusing that the week folloing me never hearing a response form ace or johnson about what i found i got my laptop back on went on thier gb profiles and magically like it never happened thier accounts were gone.... hmmm seems liek someone was given a heads up. For even more specific details the 2 aiel players were macandjacks and sandman who has a second psn called oApollo.

Sorry the directors and I wanted to try and find a way to rectify this situation in a fair way without tarnishing a tournament by tossing clans out. Whatever happened to just having fun playing a game in a competitive atmosphere? But now everything is political bullshit. We look for ways to oust people from our holy community.

This tournament is already tarnished, with only 3 clans left in. This competitive atmosphere was great until a clan thought it was above all other clans and didn't need to follow simple guidelines. There is no politics here, there is simply difference of opinion. That difference is some clans can accept a little cheating others WILL NOT.

First of all peebrain, I am free to voice my opinion as I wish. As are you. As far as me commenting its really up to me if i wish to type on my keyboard or not. Thanks for the concern on me being a ranger but I uphold the " fair and honest gameplay" that UF has stood for. As for Tow and Sniper selling this site, it really has nothing to do with this situation, if you really want to know i could have bought this site personally 400 times over and still not blinked a bit about it. But that is here nor there. The guys that bought it have there own vision and have taken it great places. No is bitching just asking questions. Don't be narrow minded about concerns that could effect the way things could be handled in the future. These guys ask for advice all the time, and when the community gives it they respond. So please keep your petty comments to yourself and if you dont like it you can show yourself the door.

As to shanes response, I can understand that a war was confirmed, but pow's where also confirmed. So why not reinstate territory's?

How about the matches that where won with these players are you going to give clans there territory back that they lost? How about clans that where eliminated? They should get there territory's back too if they where eliminated by "ringers" or rent a players.

You'd almost forget it, but a few weeks ago, the Playstation 3 was hacked wide open - like a pristine cave deep in the world of Minecraft. This has let out all sorts of nasties, and now Sony is trying to clean up the mess. For once, I'm in full agreement with their position.The original hackers who cracked the Playstation 3 focussed entirely on homebrew applications and games. They did not put in any code or mechanisms to allow pirated games to run, or to allow cheating. Of course, with freedom comes abuse, and other hackers have added the ability to cheat and run pirated games.

This is bad. Very bad. Unlike what some might think, I don't actually approve of piracy, and most certainly not of software. I consider the act of pirating music, film and TV an interim solution until the widely ignored, destructive, and wholly out-of-date copyright laws are amended to reflect the modern age. Of course, for many of us Europeans, downloading music, films, and TV is perfectly legal.

While cheating in a game is also perfectly fine by me, it's not fine if this happens on public servers. If you want to hook up a bunch of Playstations together, then cheat all you want. However, the majority doesn't want to cheat, and as such, Sony is well within its rights to kick hacked Playstation 3s of the Playstation Network - and that's exactly what their statement, uh, states.

"Consumers using circumvention devices or running unauthorized or pirated software will have access to the PlayStation Network and access to Qriocity services through PlayStation 3 system terminated permanently," Sony states, "To avoid this, consumers must immediately cease use and remove all circumvention devices and delete all unauthorized or pirated software from their PlayStation 3 systems."

Of course, Sony is a massive hypocrite here, since apparantly it's okay to steal from consumers (OtherOS) but not the other way around. Well, at least this policy is good for the overwhelming majority of PS3 owners who couldn't give a creeper's bum about al this stuff.

This is the same thing if Sony is kicking cheaters and hackers why can't Urgent Fury?

agreed 1000% if someone is caught cheating they should be banned and never heard from again.
