  1. Browsing Netflix on your ps3 blows, but just do what BigD said and everything works fine. I live in MT and still get next day service on the DVDs. It's well worth the $8 a month.
  2. Class Action Info: Firm's website: http://mdpcelaw.com/news.cfm
  3. Well, that didn't take long. Coming soon to your PS3, custom firmware. Way to go Sony! Article Here
  4. Looks like we have some offense this year. I can't say I'm happy with Lowe's start, but if he's going to get that kind of run support it's going to be a good year.
  5. I took a short-cut and I'm using someone else's DNS for now, and it works fine. I still just haven't had time to set up my own system.
  6. A work-around thread is here: http://3004.pokemonger.com/showthread.php?tid=21 In a nutshell, when you go to go online, your PS3 will be redirected to a different non-sony server to get the current firmware requirements. The server can either be your own computer or one listed in the thread that is set up for this. I haven't tried it yet, and I probably will not have time to try it until Sunday. Good luck and please let us know if it works for you.
  7. Um. Yeah. First, just ask google how crappy linux is. Their whole business is run on it. Second, you're lucky that there are people out there who do want to keep corporations from running all over citizens. The PS3 will be fully hacked shortly, and I say, "go for it." Sony is forcing people to do it. It will be fully compromised, not so people can pirate games, but so they can get back the functionality the product had when they purchased it. Then the pirates will jump on board and fuck everyone's gaming experience up. If you think the online shooters are crappy now, just wait till the modders start showing up. It's all because Sony pulled the advertised ability for PS3 owners to do something they want with a legally purchased product. Sony just screwed themselves, us gamers, and the developers with one bonehead move.
  8. Yep. Sony will get sued on this one. You can't just take a purchased device's advertised functionality away from it. Lots of people, including the Air Force, use PS3s for real work. How would you like it if the ACME Keyboard company came to your office and removed all the number keys? Edit: Other places are pointing out that this is being released on April Fool's and it's not adding any features or fixing any bugs. It could be a ruse.
  9. Someone once told me that it's because of their vision. They don't see colors like we do, so a dark skinned person registers like a reverse image or a photo negative. Then the dog may go on alert, because, to them, they sense something wrong or out of place.
  10. In your future I seeeeeee :police: . That's a gay prison guard by the way, not a cop.
  11. That is fantastic. Do they include a tube of face cream if they order in the next 10 minutes?
  12. I doubt it. And why bother when there are so many readily available boobs on the the internet for your viewing pleasure.
  13. I think the Bears have other personnel issues. I'd rather they give Forte some blocking and coaching to go along with it. Look what Benson and Orton pulled off last year. I don't live in Chicago, but I can't imagine that their performances went overlooked by the locals. Thomas Jones needs a home now too. :-\
